Hypnosis Workshop

What is Hynosis?

Hypnosis is the oldest and most natural mode of healing known to man; it is considered to be a potent and safe adjunct to medicine as well as an effective procedure in psychotherapy.

Thoughts can control the body's functions and human behavior - positively or negatively. However, we all have within us the potential to heal ourselves. This potential belongs to everyone and gives us the assurance that there is no such thing as a totally helpless situation or an insurmountable problem.

A common negative response is fear. Many people suffer from phobias. A phobia is a severe physical response to perceived danger, real or imagined. It is, in effect, a Pavlovian response. The stimulus (heights, snakes, spiders, water, airplanes, and sex) will automatically elicit an unwanted fear, or terror, response. It is important to realize that this is a subconscious event. It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to control a phobic reaction. A cognitive approach does not work. Hypnotherapy can remove a phobia thus freeing an individual to realize his full potential. It can bring about major changes within an individual. Yet few therapeutic procedures are as misunderstood or perceived erronously as hypnosis.

Other issues that can be helped with hypnotherapy:

Smoking

Weight Control

Assertiveness & Inner Confidence

Fighting Depression

Focusing on Your Goals

Developing Positive Habits

Realization of Goals
